Bishop Perry Scholarship Fund

The Bishop Perry Scholarship Funds is named for Bishop Joseph N. Perry, who now serves as Auxilliary Bishop in the Archdiocese of Chicago.  Bishop Perry previously served as Auxilliary Bishop in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, and is fondly remembered by the Society as one of its former Chaplains, and as an adjunct professor who taught Canon Law at Marquette University Law School.  A more general biography of Bishop Perry can be found on the website of the Archdiocese of Chicago.

With the guidance and assistance of the Dean of Marquette Law School, proceeds from the Bishop Perry Scholarship Fund are used to fund a partial tuition scholarship for one or more (depending upon availability of funds) law school students.

Bishop Perry was also given the Society's Faithful Servant Award in 2007. the Bishop's acceptance remarks made at the reception following the 2007 Red Mass are instructive both as to the mission and values of the Society and Bishop Perry.
