Board Member Joe Fenzel has undertaken a personal initiative to start a tradition of celebrating the Feast of the Sacred Heart, and has invited fellow Society members to join. Members are enouraged to attend the noon Mass at Old St. Mary's Church on Friday, June 19, 2009, and then adjourn to Louise's (Jefferson & State) for a buffet style lunch. If you are inclined to be festive and outwarrdly observant of the occaision, you might also choose to wear a splash of red that day, such as a red carnation or ribbon on your lapel, or perhaps a red tie or scarf.
