Red Mass - 2009 - Thank you

The Society wishes to extend a special thank you to all those who attended this year's Red Mass.  The event was well attended, and quite enjoyable by all accounts.  Special acknowledgement should be given to the Red Mass Committee ... whose efforts were instrumental in the successful execution of the event.

We also thank Fr. Wild, Dean Kearney, and our Faithful Servant Award Recipient, Tom Mountin for their well considered remarks.

If any member has photos of the event that they would like to share, we would be glad to have them.  Please contact your webmaster by email.

2009 Red Mass - October 15, 2009 - Invitation and RSVP

The Society's signature event, the annual Red Mass, is coming up on October 15, 2009.  We now have confirmed the details for the event, and hope you can join us.  The Red Mass seeks to bring members of the bar, government officials, the judiciary, and all those who work for justice in our world together to reflect, and seek inspiration from God to guide them in the coming year's efforts. The Red Mass has traditionally been scheduled to coincide with the start of a new legislative or judicial session. People of all faiths and professions are welcome.

In addition to a traditional Roman Catholic Mass, the activities will include an excellent dinner reception at the University Club and keynote address by Fr. Wild of Marquette University.  This year, the Society has also opted to confer its "Faithful Servant Award" upon Tom Mountin, Esq., and will highlight his tireless efforts to live his faith and serve others in all aspects of his life.
